The choice of the child car seat must always be assessed according to the weight of the child.

The European regulation divides children's weights into "Mass Groups" i.e. weight brackets which correspond to specific car seat groups. Every car seat is designed, approved and produced according to this benchmark parameter.

The listed age groups provide approximate benchmarks as the physical development of each child is subjective. In order to travel safely, it is always important to choose and use a car seat that is suited to the morphology of the child.

Group 3
from 22 to 36 kg

Follow the instructions below when moving up from one Group to another:

- Upgrade from the Group 0 car seat to the higher Groups only when the baby's head protrudes above the top edge of the seat. Safety is not compromised if the child's feet touch the backrest of the vehicle seat. Try to use the Group 0 child car seat for as long as possible (ideally up to 13 kg) because the muscles in young children's necks are not sufficiently developed to resist against strong deceleration in the event of impact.

- Continue to use the Group 0+/1 or Group 1 for as long as the seat belts can be adjusted to remain 2 cm above the shoulders.

- Upgrade to Group 2/3 when your child's shoulders are higher than the height of the harness straps.
